In short
The add-ins do not collect personal data, do not track how you use them and do not send anything to us.
What stays on your computer
- Your settings, channel profiles, colour palettes and font lists are saved in the add-in folder on your computer.
- The add-ins write a log file in the same folder for troubleshooting. It is never sent anywhere. You may attach it to an e-mail when you ask for support, if you want to.
Licence check (Font Channelier Hobby and Glyph Channelier)
The paid add-ins ask the Autodesk App Store whether your Autodesk account has a valid licence. The request goes directly to Autodesk and contains only your Autodesk user ID, which Autodesk® Fusion 360™ provides, and the ID of the add-in. The answer is saved on your computer as an encrypted licence file, so the add-in does not have to ask every time. We do not receive this request. Font Channelier Free does not check a licence and does not connect to the internet.
Purchases
The add-ins are sold through the Autodesk App Store. Payments are handled by Autodesk and PayPal; we never see your card or bank details. For each purchase we see your Autodesk user ID, the e-mail address of your PayPal account and the PayPal transaction ID. We use them only to manage licences, payments and accounting, and keep them as long as accounting law requires. See the Autodesk privacy statement and the PayPal privacy statement.
